So today is a rough one. Abigail Thorn's (Philosophy Tube) has posted her latest video, an exposé on the state of conversion practises (i.e. that they are still legal, and still practised despite mountains of evidence decrying their harm) and... yeah.
The video is on Nebula if you want to watch it, and I would strongly suggest that you do. It's worth it.
It's left me feeling sad, vulnerable, and ashamed that the country I call home is capable of such indifferent cruelty. On the other hand, I'm proud of the vital work she's done, continues to do, and continues to inspire.
This is a day that's left me worn a little thin, I think.
